Root Canal Therapy
A procedure to treat an inflamed or damaged pulp/nerve which enables the tooth to be saved and remain in the mouth to function.
Dental bonding is an ideal option for minor chips and smaller fractures. It blends beautifully to recreate the original tooth appearance. Larger areas of damage and more extensive fractures will require more aggressive repairs for a permanent solution, such as veneers or crowns.
Bonding can also be used to close minor gaps between the teeth and cover sensitive exposed root surfaces along the gumline. Bonding can be added to the edges of teeth but will require extra care. You will need to avoid chipping the bonding material, particularly during activities such as opening packages with your teeth, nail biting or clenching and grinding. As long as you are careful you will be fine.
Ask your Dentist if bonding is an option for you.
