Invisalign

Invisalign is the trade name and the leader in invisible braces. it uses clear aligners (transparent mouth guards) that are digitally designed and printed to move teeth.

The procedure starts with a thorough examination including digital x-rays to ensure the teeth and bone are healthy. Photos, scans, and impressions are taken and sent to the Invisalign laboratory. A detailed digital report is then prepared which shows the sequence of movements and the final result that can be expected. When the dentist and the patient approve the plan, a series of upper and lower aligners are fabricated, and small white attachments / buttons are bonded to the teeth to secure the aligners. These trays are worn day and night for 2 weeks. They are only removed to eat and to clean the teeth and the aligners. At the end of each 2 week cycle the aligners are changed for the next set. Each set of aligners has a distinct movement to perform.
