A porcelain veneer is a thin covering of porcelain, similar to a fake nail fabricated at a laboratory that is custom made to cover your existing tooth. Less preparation of the tooth is required than many other procedures. The porcelain facing can alter the shape, contour, alignment, shade and size of the existing tooth and is bonded in place. Porcelain veneers can close spaces and recreate a perfect, flawless smile. This is a conservative treatment when compared to more invasive smile enhancing procedures.
